Bio
More than a decade of PHP — Symfony, Laravel, and everything in between. I've worked across the full stack: real-time exam platforms, campus fintech infrastructure, multi-country SaaS e-commerce. The thread through all of it is clean architecture, serious test coverage, and code that holds up when the traffic spikes.
Most recently, I worked as a Senior PHP Engineer and Technical Lead at NEXT BASKET, combining hands-on Symfony/PHP development with technical leadership across an 11-engineer distributed team. I reinforced existing TDD and DDD practices through implementation and code review, and coordinated delivery with QA and SRE. I've also contributed to Monnify's official Laravel package for the Nigerian fintech ecosystem.
I hold an MSc (Distinction) from Covenant University — thesis on CNN-based tuberculosis detection for Android — and a BSc First Class Honours from Bowen University. Two peer-reviewed publications; named in the Staff Merit Award for resolving the hardest open issues at the university's Directorate of Digital Services.
